Well, we're all obviously Nightcrawler fans, (duh) but what are some of the other comics that you guys are into? I noticed someone's username was Squee22. I'm guessing that you're a Johnen Vasquez fan. Are you into JTHM, too? There's a lot of stuff that I like from Slave Labor Graphics. Lenore (anything by Roman Dirge) is another good one. There's a relatively new one called Stitch that's pretty good as well. (It's SO cute, with living rag dolls and creatures like the Skelebunnies and Devil Woobies!) So what other comics is everybody into?

Oh! Poor Gnahrf! I also have a very limited budget right now, too, so I don't pick up all that many comics, but Slave Labor Graphics puts out books that I got into a few years ago, when I had a little more money. I don't think I'll be buying any comics until Ultimate X-Men 8 comes out. They were so MEAN to 'Crawler, but I really like this adaptation. Very dark. Wouldn't it be bizzare if the girl who sings to him at night was an angst-ridden, Ultimized Allison Blaire? (Sorry, I just reread X-Men Unlimited 32, and she's stuck in my head, now.) ............ Maybe not.

Ahh... I also wait for ULT-8, first I believed the singer was Rogue, now I'm not sure at all. By the way, you must always prioritize here in life - foods or comics? Easy choice! (At least you can live without food for four-five days without getting hungry, trust me.)

Well right now I'm focused solely on titles that have the elf in them, with New Xmen and Ultimate xmen thrown in too. I used to buy quite a few different titles. Elfquest, A Distant Soil, mostly alternate press fantasy stuff. Xmen is the only superhero line that interests me. Lately though the non superhero stuff has dried up, so I'm not buying much at all except xmen. Anyway it's an expensive hobby, and money's tight.

My favorite comics outside of X-Men are/were the Sandman series by Neil Gaimen.
It's quite a bit darker than Excalibur, but it was quite quirky and humorous at times, and the characters were very aproachable and interesting.
(I just noticed. I must be really vain. I like characters that kinda look like me.)

Any others, nope. Budget tight, tight, tight...wish there were more online comics.

Yep! the choice is easy. But now that you mention that, I remembered a friend of mine mentioned today how cockroaches are high in nutrients and protein and that there has been cases were people have been able to survive in perfect health just on the lil cute buggies...Don't worry! I once (don't ask how, remember I'm into bio too) swallowed some ants...they were pretty good!
Then again, those are just some stray thoughts from a shorty whose way past bedtime

I really like Death's solo stuff. Sandman has some great stories, too. In my erstwhile death rock days, I wore a top hat, black lipstick, and egyptian-styled eyeliner EVERY DAY. And since I'm a pretty happy person, I got some Death references. "You must be a Gaiman fan," comic fans were heard to opine as I walked to school. What character do you look like? Now I'm curious.
